Professional Programs

The Carroll Center offers monthly one day seminars for educators, rehabilitation professionals, paraprofessionals, disability specialists, university staff and family members. Topics presented represent the newest hardware and software on the market to enable professionals to learn these devices so that they may in-turn support their consumers. In addition, we host seminars and events by Technology vendors. These opportunities allow professionals to update their knowledge in the latest technology for accessing computers with speech, large print and/or Braille.

Seminars vary year to year. If you don’t see an application that you need training in, please contact us as individualized training is always provided.

Certificates of completion are provided and can be used to meet part of the continuing education requirements in some fields. Tech News and Events lists the upcoming seminars and events.
