Hingham resident and MAB board member to run in the Vision 5K blindfold challenge
After 13 years as a volunteer for the Massachusetts Association for the Blind, MAB board member and Hingham resident Larry Guihan has learned that being blind need not be a limiting factor. Guihan explained that by running blindfolded in the June 7 Vision 5K Run & Walk he’s “trying to show the world that being blind does not stop you from doing things in life such as running. We all need help in life, and with a little assistance from a sighted guide, a blind or visually disabled person can run just as well as a sighted person,” he said.
