Boston Globe features elite blind runners at the Boston Marathon

Visually impaired champion Kurt Fiene to attend the Vision 5K

The Boston Globe highlighted the accomplishments of two blind runners in a front-page story this week, profiling Adrian Broca and Kurt Fiene as they traveled to Massachusetts to take on the Boston Marathon.

Fiene (2:55:00) and Broca (2:56:18) placed first and second in the visually impaired division, running as part of Team With A Vision for MAB Community Services, one of the Vision 5K’s organizing charities. Fiene will return to Boston on June 8 to take part in the Vision 5K.
