Marketing Assistant
The Carroll Center for the Blind is seeking an articulate, energetic, and outgoing person for the position of Marketing Assistant. Position is responsible for
•providing quality customer service to customers by: providing level-one information to consumers including basic agency information, application process and requirements, gathering information for transferring consumers to appropriate programs, and following up to ensure calls are returned; directing consumers to information on the agency website;
•oversee conference presentations and attendance, manage event registrations and facilities, schedule both off and on-campus tours and informational presentations;
•maintain calendar for evaluations and equipment demonstrations;
•maintain records, print and electronic, for all applicants and attendees;
•provide support to alumni volunteers;
•organize materials for dissemination and application packets; and
•other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess strong telephone skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. The position requires an individual who is proficient with data entry and Windows applications in Word, Excel, email and internet. This is a full-time position and requires some weekend or evening work at times throughout the calendar year. College Degree preferred.
Duties:
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm with some evenings and Saturdays.
