Josh Pearson and Jameyanne Fuller, students in Carroll Center educational programs, have returned home, after successfully completing their trek through the Andes mountains of Peru The two students had an experience of a lifetime and will be sharing their personal comments at a reception at the Carroll Center, soon to be announced.
“I don’t know who I was before and I don’t know who I am now, but I know I’m different,”
— Josh Pearson
“Standing at our summit of 15,600 feet was such an amazing feeling, but it is as nothing, to the pride and joy we all felt, when we remembered that we had done it as a team. Standing on our summit was nothing like anything I have experienced my whole life, but it is minimal, compared to the friends I have made, the memories I have, and the overwhelming sense of achievement that I have done something to truly be proud of.”
— Jameyanne Fuller
